Our Speaker: Mr. Harry Moser, President of The Restoring Initiative
Harry Moser founded the Reshoring Initiative to bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. after working for high end machine tool supplier GF AgieCharmilles, starting as President in 1985 and retiring 12/31/10 as Chairman Emeritus. He earlier worked six years for DISAMATIC U.S. His father ran the foundry at Singer Sewing Machine’s main plant in Elizabeth, NJ.
Learn the many reasons for American manufacturers to reevaluate offshoring and consider reshoring. Companies are increasingly recognizing that costs, risks and strategic impacts previously ignored are large enough to overcome the shrinking emerging market wage advantages. They are seeing the benefits of proximity, i.e. producing in the market, especially when the home market is the U.S., still the world’s largest.
See how you can compete more effectively against your offshore competition.
